* ci: run the Ansible controller as an unprivileged user
* ci: clarify non-root controller check
* ci: make the sudo privilege check fail when sudo succeeds
Bash does not apply errexit to the negated sudo command. The old check could not fail the job even when passwordless sudo worked. Exit explicitly when sudo succeeds.
Remove --break-system-packages from both upgrade pip installs because they run inside the controller virtual environment.
collection-build-install and check-checksums-sorted have low value for
local development, as what they check isn't likely to be touched by most
contributors
It's also enough to run once pre-commit with --hook-stage manual in CI
to run all hooks (since hooks without a 'stages' applies to all stages)
Not really a reason not to, and this actually breaks daily-ci because
some jobs depends on this one so the whole pipeline is invalid if it's
not created.
* CI: Put pre-commit cache under CI_PROJECT_DIR
Apparently gitlab-runner can't cache stuff outside of the project
directory.
Put the cache under CI_PROJECT_DIR to make it work (which also means we
need to ignore it from ansible-lint).
Also update the pre-commit image while we're at it.

* update ansible-lint pre-commit
* CI: reduce VM resources requests to improve scheduling
* CI: Reduce default jobs; add labels(ci-full/extended) to run more test
* CI: use jobs dependencies instead of stages
* precommit one-job
* CI: Use Kubevirt VM to run Molecule and Vagrant jobs
Use gitlab dynamic child pipelines feature to have one source of truth
for the pre-commit jobs, the pre-commit config file.
Use one cache per pre-commit. This should reduce the "fetching cache"
time steps in gitlab-ci, since each job will have a separate cache with
only its hook installed.
Allow to fail early (pre-commit time) for jinja error, rather than
waiting until executing the playbook and the invalid template.
I could not find a simple jinja pre-commit hook in the wild.
* project: update all dependencies including ansible
Upgrade to ansible 7.x and ansible-core 2.14.x. There seems to be issue
with ansible 8/ansible-core 2.15 so we remain on those versions for now.
It's quite a big bump already anyway.

* ansible-lint: disable various rules after ansible upgrade
Temporarily disable a bunch of linting action following ansible upgrade.
Those should be taken care of separately.

During code-review, reviwers needed to take care of README.md also
should be updated when the pull request updated component versions.
This adds the corresponding check to reduce reviwer's burden.
* [ansible] make ansible 5.x the new default version and move different versions tested to nightly jobs
* [CI] jobs were missing proper ansible cleanup
This fixes the following types of failures:
- empty-string-compare
- literal-compare
- risky-file-permissions
- risky-shell-pipe
- var-spacing
In addition, this changes .gitlab-ci/lint.yml to block the same issue
by using the same method at Kubespray CI.
* Ansible: move to Ansible 3.4.0 which uses ansible-base 2.10.10
* Docs: add a note about ansible upgrade post 2.9.x
* CI: ensure ansible is removed before ansible 3.x is installed to avoid pip failures
* Ansible: use newer ansible-lint
* Fix ansible-lint 5.0.11 found issues
* syntax issues
* risky-file-permissions
* var-naming
* role-name
* molecule tests
* Mitogen: use 0.3.0rc1 which adds support for ansible 2.10+
* Pin ansible-base to 2.10.11 to get package fix on RHEL8
Now markdownlint covers ./README.md and md files under ./docs only.
However we have a lot of md files under different directories also.
This enables markdownlint for other md files also.
